What is TREAT?
The Three Rivers Eastern Area Tournament, or TREAT, is a member tournament in the International Gay Bowling Organization (IGBO), a non-profit organization that provides educational services, communication avenues, and social opportunities to promote the sport of bowling and to enrich the lives of individuals through leagues and tournaments worldwide. For over twenty years, TREAT has raised money for Pittsburgh area charities and community groups through fundraising events. TREAT also brings visibility to Pittsburgh and supports the economic vitality of the city with its biennial intramural bowling tournament, one of the oldest gay bowling tournaments in the country, drawing participants both nationally and internationally.
