TREAT conducts multiple fundraisers in order to run the biennial tournament.  All fundraising activities are overseen by the Fundraising Chair of the TREAT Executive Board.

TREAT Lottery Calendars
Each year, TREAT sells lottery calendars good for 365 days of prizes.  Drawings are based on the PA Lottery Daily (Evening) drawings.  Calendars cost $20 each.  Contact igbo@treatpgh.org to get a calendar today.

OUTrageous Bingo
TREAT has a long standing tradition alliance with the OUTrageous BINGO event held by the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Pittsburgh.  At each bingo, TREAT runs the concession stand serving snacks, sandwiches and sweet treats.

Various Bowling Events
Throughout the year, several small bowling events are held to raise awareness of TREAT and raise funds toward the next tournament.   Different formats are used

SKINS- A quick event typically held before a week of regularly scheduled bowling.  With one bowler per lane, a series of rounds are held in which each bowler simultaneously on the count of an M.C.  After each bowler has thrown a single ball, the bowler(s) with the lowest pin count are eliminated.  Play continues with additional rounds until only one bowler remains who wins the entire prize fund.

BLIND DOUBLES – A common bowling format in which bowlers bowl three games.  After the completion of three games, bowler names are randomly paired together and their scores combined.  The doubles with the highest three combined scores compete in a 3-team step-ladder elimination.  With adequate participation, each of the top three doubles teams receive a portion of the prize fund.
